All individuals working with fish are, in accordance with Norwegian regulations, required to complete a course in fish welfare. Participants must have an understanding of the species’ physiology, natural needs, behavior, and how fish respond to stressors.

The Fish Welfare Course – Wellboat is designed for personnel who primarily work on wellboats and who participate in certain operations at fish farming sites. If you frequently take part in operations and processes at farming sites that affect fish health and welfare, it is recommended to complete the more comprehensive course Fish Welfare Course – Sea.
