This course introduces the concept of sustainability in aquaculture, with a focus on responsible and long-term fish production. Participants will learn about sustainability across the value chain, including environmental, social, and economic aspects. The course covers the relationship between climate and circularity, as well as principles of lake area management to protect aquatic ecosystems. In addition, the course addresses antimicrobial resistance and emphasizes the proper and responsible use of antibiotics to promote fish health while safeguarding the environment and public health.
